Privacy Policy

n1athlete is operated by Piotr Jasinski, Switzerland, who is the data controller for the purposes of the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection and the EU General Data Protection Regulation. Contact: hello@n1athlete.io.
Cookies
This site sets no cookies. There is no advertising, no retargeting, no social tracking pixel and no cross-site profiling. That is why you are not being shown a consent banner: there is nothing to consent to.
Visitor statistics
Page views are counted using GoatCounter, a privacy-focused analytics service. It sets no cookies, does not track you between sites, and does not collect or store personal data. It records the page visited, the referring site, an approximate country, and a general browser and screen-size category. IP addresses are used only transiently to derive that country and are not stored. The purpose is to know which pages people read; the legal basis is legitimate interest in operating the site.
Typefaces are served from this site's own server. No fonts, scripts or assets are loaded from Google or any other third party on these pages.
Beyond this, the hosting provider (Hostinger) keeps standard server access logs, which include IP addresses, for security and operational purposes and on their own retention schedule.
When you buy something
Purchases are processed by Lemon Squeezy, LLC as merchant of record. Lemon Squeezy collects your name, email address, billing country and payment details, and processes them under its own privacy policy. Payment card details are never transmitted to, seen by or stored by n1athlete.
What is visible to n1athlete is limited to order records: your name, email address, country, the product purchased and the amount. This is used to fulfil the order, answer support requests, process refunds, and meet Swiss accounting and tax record-keeping obligations. The legal basis is performance of a contract and compliance with a legal obligation. Records are kept for as long as the law requires, currently ten years for accounting records.
The newsletter
The n1athlete newsletter is hosted on Substack. If you subscribe — whether through the form embedded on this site or on Substack directly — Substack holds your email address under its own privacy policy, and you can unsubscribe from any issue using the link at the bottom of it. The embedded form is served by Substack, so loading a page containing it means your browser contacts Substack's servers. Buying a product does not subscribe you to anything.
If you email
Email sent to hello@n1athlete.io is delivered through Hostinger and forwarded to a Google account. Correspondence is kept only for as long as needed to deal with the matter and any related records obligation.
Sharing
Personal data is not sold, rented or shared for marketing. It is shared only with the service providers named above — Lemon Squeezy, Hostinger, Substack, GoatCounter, Google — acting as processors, and with authorities where the law requires it.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of the data held about you, ask for it to be corrected, ask for it to be deleted, or object to its processing. Email hello@n1athlete.io and the request will be handled within 30 days. Data that must be retained for tax and accounting purposes cannot be deleted before the retention period ends, and you will be told if that applies.
If you are in the EU or UK you may also complain to your national data protection authority. In Switzerland this is the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner.
